About Benjamin

Dr. Kunz has been working as a therapist with adults of all ages, adolescents, couples and families for over a decade.  He completed both his masters and doctoral training in clinical psychology at Wheaton College.  His clinical experiences are broad in scope and include therapy with a diverse and multicultural clientele in private practice, as well as college counseling and community mental health centers.  He also has experience working in the inpatient and intensive day program settings for both adults and adolescents, as well as conducting brief and comprehensive psychological assessments.

Dr. Kunz’s clinical interests include relational problems, family and marriage concerns, parent coaching, assistance with life transitions, grief and loss, mood and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, identity and performance issues, abuse recovery, sexuality, addiction recovery, and the integration of faith and psychology.

Engaging and compassionate, Dr. Kunz utilizes a holistic, practical and collaborative approach that is strength-based and incorporates many theoretical models, particularly psychodynamic and systems approaches.  He challenges and encourages his patients toward health and balance in the psychological, physical, social and spiritual realms
