Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology

Over the past several years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating stress, difficult emotions, interpersonal conflict, and trauma. My advanced training in depth-oriented psychotherapy enables me to help individuals explore their inner world and relationships with greater depth and nuance. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology with a focus on the mind-body connection, particularly how trauma impacts both psychological and physical wellbeing. This background allows me to integrate an understanding of nutrition, self-care, and gut health into psychological resilience.

I work well with individuals from a range of backgrounds—young and older adults, as well as couples. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re seeking deeper insight and transformation, I meet you where you are. I work especially well with those drawn to reflect on the experiences that have uniquely shaped them. Together, we explore how your personal history and past meaning-making continue to influence present challenges. Therapy offers a space to examine and gently shift these patterns, opening the door to lasting change.

I specialize in concerns related to mood, including major and persistent depression, as well as broader mood disturbances. These experiences often bring emotional pain alongside shifts in energy, motivation, and self-understanding that can feel disorienting or overwhelming.

Many of those I work with carry the imprint of childhood or complex trauma—wounds that shape how they relate to themselves and others, often in subtle and unconscious ways. These early experiences frequently echo into adult relationships, showing up as conflict, disconnection, or difficulty with intimacy and attachment.

I also hold a strong interest in the lived experience of embodiment—how we relate to our bodies, including struggles with body image, disordered eating, and the complex experience of inhabiting one’s physical self. For many women, these concerns intersect with deeper questions of self-esteem, sexual trauma, and the evolving nature of feminine identity.

My approach honors the spiritual and existential dimensions of life. I work with individuals grappling with questions of meaning, purpose, and belief—often during times of loss, transition, or reflection.

What I’m like as a therapist:

I see myself as a guide alongside you—a companion in the process of uncovering deeper understanding through thoughtful questions and insights. I trust that the truth you seek is already within you, and my role is to help bring it into clearer view, integrating it with your identity and circumstances.

Therapy offers a space where your experiences, emotions, and recurring patterns can be explored with both safety and curiosity, without judgment. I hold a profound belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship itself—how it can challenge and transform old ways of being, opening room for healing that lasts beyond our time together. When it feels right, I weave in body-mind-informed approaches, recognizing the whole person and supporting a richer reconnection with yourself.
